Furla Names Karry Wang as New Brand Spokesperson
“Out of the blue, Win in orchid” —- Lunar New Year 2024 Special Capsule – Candy.
January 12, 2024 – Furla is thrilled to name the Chinese young actor and singer idol Karry Wang as the new brand spokesperson. This announcement kicks off the beginning of a journey that will bring several upcoming projects with him. Wang’s first appearance will be in the campaign of the new Lunar New Year 2024 Special Capsule “Out of blue, Win in Orchid”. The imagery draws inspiration from the theme of orchids with Chinese characteristics and applies the unique colors to the new generation of Furla’s signature Candy Bag.
The campaign is initiated with FURLA’s most impressive and iconic Arch logo. The theme concept of seeing the world through the Arch demonstrates the connection between bags and the colors of Chinese orchids.
As a young actor and singer of Gen Z, Karry Wang is beloved for his sunny, confident, and positive attitude. In his film works, he meticulously studies roles and vividly shapes characters, growing through the understanding of different roles. He played major leading roles in the movies “FallenBridge” and “Home Coming”.

FURLA 2024 Lunar New Year Candy Capsule
Debuting in 2010, Candy capsule has since become one of FURLA’s best selling collections. To celebrate the Year of the Dragon, FURLA introduces this limited-edition mini Boston bag. The series specially features six colors inspired by Chinese orchids, connecting the entire range of items: the Red Orchid, the Blue Phalaenopsis, the Green Orchid, the Sapphire Orchid, the Peach Orchid, and the Yellow Orchid. The capsule series uses different colors of orchids to convey distinct styles.
In terms of the material, the FURLA Candy capsule adheres to a PVC design. Specially designed cartoon dragon-shaped pendants made of metal enamel are available for selection. Drawing inspiration from traditional Chinese colors, the series incorporates these aesthetics into color matching, echoing the diverse color styles of orchids. Six colors are introduced – Red Orchid, Blue Phalaenopsis, Green Orchid, Sapphire Orchid, Peach Orchid, and Yellow Orchid. The combination of a detachable metal chain shoulder strap and double handles allows for easy carrying, whether by hand, on one shoulder, or across the body.
